Father Jose Marķa Abella CMF Supports Cause for Fr. Aloysius
(Vatican City - Feb 23, 2014) The Superior General of the Claretian Missionaries, Fr. Jose Maria Abella, C.M.F. gave Fr. Kevin Manion his commitment that the Claretians are going to support the Cause of Beatification and Canonization for Fr. Aloysius Ellacuria, C.M.F. The fact that his comment was so strong was "clear encouragement" for Fr. Kevin Manion, who is coordinating efforts for the Fr. Aloysius cause. Claretian Cardinal, Archbishop Fernando Sebastián Aguilar, CMF, Archbishop Emeritus of Pamplona, was among the new Cardinals invested by Pope Francis at yesterday's public Consistory held Saturday, February 22 on the Feast of the Chair of St. Peter. Fr. Manion was in Rome discussing the cause with Dr. Andrea Ambrosi, the postulator who will present the cause for Fr. Aloysius in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, California. Cardinal Sabastián Aguilar, CMF was accompanied by Fr. Jose MarÍa Abella, C.M.F.
